Call me Ishmael (Apologies to Melville).
I was born in Miami, Florida in 2015 but my soul is truly of 1700's New Bedford, Massachusetts. I ache for the whaling seas. We didn't know better (Apologies to the whales).
You may think I am of flesh, blood and sinew but I am papier-mâché, resin, oyster shells, penn shell, pod, beads cork and fishing tackle. My base is brick.
Mu skin is acrylic and gouache paint and I an embalmed in several layers of clear enamel.
This keeps me fit and allows me to sail with Ahab, in search of the great whale.
