Greek Tragedy
$0.00
I am Androgeos, a prince of old Crete.
My life at Knossos indeed was so sweet.
Now I am dead,
with a fish on my head,
and I can't walk about, I've been given no feet.
E'en with no tongue, I can sill tell
of would be bird, Icarus who fell.
I speak of the Greek tragedy,
born of Daedalus' fallacy.
Humans can't fly; he should have known well.
I am made of papier-mâché, a mummified snapper head, brass trimming from Mrche Aux Puces, a crystal from Seoul, Korea, mussel shells and wire.
My base is raku and brick. I am decorated with acrylic paint and sealed with clear enamel.
